Ben-Alex Dupris

Ben-Alex Dupris is a filmmaker, Miniconjou Lakota, and an enrolled member of the Colville Confederated Tribes. Dupris' debut film, "Sweetheart Dancers," earned him the Grand Jury Award for Best Short Film in 2019. Through his work, Dupris strives to honor Indigenous people and their homelands. Currently, Dupris is an instructor at Duke University, teaching a course on Indigenous mythology in pop culture.
