Frank Waln

Frank Waln is a Sicangu Lakota rapper and social activist who performs both individually and as part of the music collective, Nake Nula Waun (I am always ready, at all times, for anything). Many of Waln's songs address Native issues, including "What Made the Red Man Red" and "Culture Shock." So far, Waln has earned three Native American Music Awards and received five nominations. Additionally, Waln contributes and promotes the Dream Warriors scholarships, which provide scholarships to Native Americans interested in studying and performing music.
