Meredith Schramm

Meredith Schramm, an enrolled member of the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska, is a passionate educator dedicated to sharing Indigenous knowledge and history. With a Bachelor of Education from Brigham Young University, she brings a wealth of experience to the classroom, currently teaching at a junior high school in Lehi, Utah.

Schramm’s deep-rooted connection to her heritage is evident in her latest work, a comprehensive lesson plan book on Federal Indian Law and Policy. This resource equips educators with the tools to teach students about the complex legal history shaping Indigenous nations. Her expertise is shaped by growing up in a family deeply invested in tribal law and governance. Her father, an Omaha Tribal Court Chief Judge, and her three attorney sisters have instilled in her a profound un
