Sihasin, which translates to “hope,” is a Diné band made up of brother and sister duo Clayson and Jeneda Benally. Sihasin, who released their debut album Never Surrender in 2012, was created to empower and inspire others to create change, both within the Native American community and outside it. The band’s music revolves around Diné culture, activism, and punk rock. Sihasin’s 2018 album Fight Like a Woman won Best Rock Recording at the Native American Music Awards in 2019.
