Sydney Freeland is a transgender Navajo filmmaker best known for directing films like "Drunktown's Finest" and Netflix Original "Deidra and Laney Rob a Train." Since 2008, Freeland has written for and directed over 15 movies and TV shows. Some of the projects Freeland has contributed to as either a writer, director, or producer include "Nancy Drew," "Reservation Dogs," "Hoverboard," and "Grey's Anatomy."
